SPECIFICATIONS

The SafeConnect carabiner is produced in Europe. According to EN12275:2013 (Mountaineering equipment – Connectors).

Twill-band, produced in Europe within OEKO TEX® Standard 100.

The shrink tube is created in Europe. Free from poison, heavy metals or other environmental effecting substances like PBB, PBBO and PBBE.

Velcro® is produced at Velcro Companies in a sustainable way.

The NASA-developed foam is produced in Europe as well as the high-tech fabric cover for the Equine Rehab Machines.

The FlexiBand is durable and produced in Europe.

The assembling and sewing are completed in Sweden.

COLOUR

Black twill band, thread, shrink tube and Velcro®.
SafeConnect Carabiner is black with a Malibu blue gate and a laser-cut Equimade logo.
Elasticated FlexiBand is in brown with Malibu blue Equimade logo patterns.
The front section cover is in dark blue or dark brown.

CARE

Make sure the Velcro is well attached to each other to use and protect the hook and loop system.
Wipe the SafeConnect Carabiner, shrink tube and twill band with a smooth damped cloth with organic washing-up liquid. Make sure the Velcro® is closed.
Possible to wash at 60 degrees celsius – make sure to close the Velcro and take off the Carabiner and the FlexiBand.
If the Velcro® has not been attached properly and is filthy – comb it gently so it is clean and can do its job again.

EasyConnect is a very strong and reliable system when tying up a horse safely. It just opens when it needs to in the Equine Rehab Machines.

The twill band has a thickness of 1 mm with breaking strength of 1456 dekanewton (daN) and a weight of 39 g/m.

The guaranteed minimum breaking strength loading on the SafeConnect carabiner is 24 000 Newton on the major axis.

There is not a lot of sound coming from the EasyConnect and front section in the Equine Rehab Machines. It is always nice to be able to be in a quieter working environment.

When dropping the carabiner against the sides, it creates a dampened sound.

The light SafeConnect carabiner is protected so the sides in the Equine Rehab Machines don't get effected when it is dropped.

The European SafeConnect carabiner has smooth edges and superior strength (24 kgN).

Easy to Use

The SafeConnect Sport carabiner with bent gate makes it easy to tie up the horse when in the Equine Rehab Machines.

Due to its lightness it's easy to manuever and attach.

The sound and the give from the Velcro® suppresses the horses need to escape (flight instinct).

It´s ability to close is reduced by the water in the Equine Rehab Machines if not covered with the shield.

It is possible to reduce the pressure to the point you want the EasyConnect to open when tying up a horse safely.

For very small or sensitive horses, where you want it to be easily opened, just place the AdjustyStrip in between the Velcro® so it is not attached all the way.
